A lot of people make the mistake of thinking that eating healthily is costly.
❌ Wrong! ❌
Using these top tips, it’s entirely possible to eat well without spending more 🤗
📌 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣 𝙈𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝘼𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚 - Eating well on a budget is a lot easier if you plan meals ahead of time. You’ll know what to buy and how much to buy. By planning, you’ll know what ingredients you have left to use in other meals and food waste is greatly reduced.
📌 𝙀𝙖𝙩 𝙊𝙪𝙩 𝙇𝙚𝙨𝙨 - We all enjoy going out for a meal with friends; it’s a great way to eat delicious food whilst socialising. However, doing so can be expensive. Instead, try to cook more meals at home. There’s no shortage of quick and easy recipes in our coaching group.
📌 𝘽𝙪𝙮 𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙯𝙚𝙣 𝙁𝙧𝙪𝙞𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙑𝙚𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙨 – Though it’s always nice to eat fresh, there’s no harm in opting for frozen fruits and vegetables. Frozen fruits and vegetables are good value for money, as they cost less and they last a lot longer, plus they retain all the goodness!
📌 𝘼𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙙 𝙏𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙅𝙪𝙣𝙠 𝙁𝙤𝙤𝙙 – The number of people who waste a lot of their food budget on takeaways and junk food is insane! As well as being unhealthy, takeaways and junk foods are a lot more expensive than the items you’ll find in a supermarket. Instead of giving up your favourite meals completely, recreate them yourself at home using healthier ingredients. Trust me when I say takeaways are no cheaper than the healthy alternatives.
📌 𝘽𝙪𝙮 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙘 𝙁𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝘽𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨 – You’ve heard about a popular branded item and you want to buy it, only to find that it’s expensive. Instead of spending your food budget on branded items, seek out generic alternatives. These are often similar and a lot more affordable. Doing so will help you to eat well without spending too much.
